Running back Marshawn Lynch (#24) lost a suppression hearing in his DUI criminal case on November 1, 2013 in Alameda County Superior Court. Lynch’s defense counsel, Ivan Golde, advised a trial readiness hearing would be scheduled for December 27, 2013.
A review of the Alameda County Superior Court website revealed there is no hearing scheduled for Lynch on December 27th.

What does this mean for Lynch and Seahawks fans? This is pure speculation on my part, but is it possible that Lynch and the District Attorney’s Office have come to some type of plea agreement for the case? Or perhaps the hearing was just postponed because the Judge in the case was on holiday leave for Christmas?
If the Seahawks earn a trip to East Rutherford, New Jersey on February 4, 2014, hopefully the trial date will be sometime after that day.
